I’m Konsta. I live in Niemenmäki, work for the Greens in Töölö, and study education in Kruununhaka. I visit friends in Kallio and Kalasatama, go to therapy in East Helsinki, and sing in a choir in Kluuvi.
I drink my coffee black, eat vegan, and spend my free time with friends or with an accordion in my lap.

Protect the sea and forests.
We Helsinki residents love our nature: the sea, islands, forests, and wetlands. In the coming term, we must protect even more of our unique environment.
Let’s preserve at least 10% of Helsinki by 2030.
Densify the city.
A compact city is key to accessible services and a sustainable lifestyle. Let forests stay forests and develop the already built areas. Let’s revise poor zoning plans and build a city centered around rail transport.
Let’s invest in rail projects.

Take the tram home after closing time.
A livable city needs efficient public transport that runs when people need it. Both late-night bar-goers and early-morning workers should be able to travel by public transport.
Let’s make public transport available 24/7!
A home for the poor and students.
People are born in, stumble upon, arrive in, and end up in Helsinki. A growing city needs space. Students and low-income residents must also be able to afford to live here.
Let’s build densely and sufficiently.
